Boston Calling reveals its schedule and releases a limited number of single day tickets for Saturday May 28, 2016 and Sunday May 29, 2016. After performances by Sia and Sufjan Stevens on Friday night, iconic Swedish pop star Robyn will headline Saturday and English electronic brother duo and 2016 Grammy Award nominee Disclosure will close the festival on Sunday, with their first Boston performance in several years. Saturday and Sunday Single Day tickets are available online beginning tomorrow, Friday, February 19th at 10am EST at www.bostoncalling.com. All performance times will be revealed at a later date. Boston Calling will be held at Boston’s City Hall Plaza [One City Hall Square, Boston, Massachusetts] on May 27, 28 and 29, 2016.
Following Friday night’s performances by Sia, Sufjan Stevens and Lisa Hannigan and Aaron Dessner, Saturday and Sunday will feature 20 performances ranging from electronic and rock to R&B and indie pop. On Saturday, Robyn, ODESZA, Miike Snow, City and Colour, Courtney Barnett and BØRNS will take the stage. Noteworthy enhancements to Boston Calling’s May edition include an intimate third stage featuring comedy and other performances, all of which will be announced in the coming weeks, and an expanded food and beverage program. Boston Calling will newly partner with local wine champions Wine Riot to create a specially curated wine experience, featuring leading varietals from around the globe. Samuel Adams will once again be providing craft beers and ciders throughout the festival grounds, and Boston Calling is excited to announce that world renowned Danish brewer Mikkeller will be producing a custom Boston Calling beer, only available at the festival. Mikkeller is regarded as one of the highest rated and most sought after brewers in the world. New additions to the food pavilion are underway and full food lineups be revealed in the spring.
