Three Days Grace’s New Album “Transit Of Venus” In Stores October 2; Hit The Road For 18-City Tour

Multi-platinum selling and award-winning recording artist THREE DAYS GRACE’s single “Chalk Outline” topped the Active Radio format on September 12th with the first single “Chalk Outline” from their forthcoming studio album entitled TRANSIT OF VENUS set for release October 2^nd on RCA Records.

The Canadian rock band embarks on new creative ground with TRANSIT OF VENUS, recording for the first time with acclaimed producer Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Hollywood Undead, Bullet for My Valentine), at Revolution Studios in Toronto. Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace comments on the musical direction of TRANSIT OF VENUS:  “We went for a tighter, more articulated sound on this record.  The music we were writing was a little more intricate than in the past, and we’ve been experimenting with new instruments.  We wanted to present these new ideas concisely without going over-the-top in ambiance and overall production.”

THREE DAYS GRACE will be heading out on a special and intimate 18-city tour in support of  their new album  TRANSIT OF VENUS.

Hailed as music’s premier rock heavyweights, the quartet will kick off the tour in Dallas, Texas on Monday, October 8th and make stops in multiple cities across the country including New York, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and Washington, D.C.
